Champagne Paul Dethune Grand Cru Brut NV

The Dethunes have been growers since the early 19th Century but started to bottle their own Champagnes in the 1930s. Pierre and Sophie Dethune now run the 7 hectares of immaculate vineyards in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay according to organic and sustainable principles. The meticulously made wines, partly vinified in foudre barrels made from locally sourced oak, are rich and expressive, full-bodied but elegant.
