Champagne Rene Jolly Blanc de Noirs NV

  • £39.00

The Jolly family's roots in the Champagne business date back to the 18th Century but as growers operate on an impressively small scale, with just 13.55 hectares of vineyards split between five family-owned parcels. The vines are treated organically (still unusual in Champagne) and grapes are hand-harvested. Even the bottles, after at least three years' ageing in the cellars, are disgorged by hand. The Blanc de Noirs is rich and expressive, toasty and full of ripe red fruits.
