Champagne Arnaud Margaine 1er Cru 'Le Brut' NV

Arnaud farms 6.5 hectares around the 1er Cru village of Villers-Marmery, essentially using organic methods, and the vines have a relatively high average age of 32 years. This village is unusual for the the Montage de Reims region (where Pinot Noir vines are dominant) in having a high proportion of Chardonnay, which is typically softer and fuller than the leaner, more mineral style of the Cote des Blancs.
