Soave Classico DOC 'Campo dei Tovi', Inama 2021

 This fine 30 hectare estate, as well known for its unusual red blends as its more traditionally styled whites, makes very pure but fruit-filled 100% Garganega wines from its vines on the volcanic basalt soils of the hilly Classico heartland: floral scented, with camomile and elderflower, then fresh citrus and sweet almond with a mineral finish, this is a very long way from the commercial wines that have done much to damage the region's reputation. This is Soave as it ought to be.
