Primitivo 'Macrame', I Pastini 2020

Primitivo (not actually the same as Zinfandel but genetically very closely related) is one of the best known grape varieties of the south of Italy, especially in its heartland of Puglia. I Pastini's textbook example is full of ripe, juicy sun-baked cherry fruit, quite full-bodied with a touch of sweet spice and a smooth finish.
