Nero Buono 'Polluce', Cincinnato 2021

 An excellent example of the unusual and ancient Nero Buono variety from the high quality Cincinnato cooperative of growers. The winery is in Cori in the foothills of the Lepini mountains, an hour's drive south of Rome, with access to 550 hectares of vines almost a fifth of which are farmed organically. This is intensely coloured, vibrant and quite full but with warm, soft raspberry/plum fruit.
