Bellone 'Castore', Cincinnato 2022

 An excellent example of the unusual and ancient Bellone variety from the high quality Cincinnato cooperative of growers. The winery is in Cori in the foothills of the Lepini mountains, an hour's drive south of Rome, with access to 550 hectares of vines almost a fifth of which are farmed organically. Aromatic, vibrant and lively, with crisp green apple and citrus fruit notes and some zesty minerality.
