Susana Balbo, who set up the Dominio del Plata winery in Lujan de Cuyo back in 1999 (releasing her first vintage in 2002) is one of Argentina's star winemakers. This is the new vintage release of her 'entry-level' Malbec, from vineyards 950m above sea-level and aged 6 months in old oak, and one of the best Malbecs at this price that I've tried in a long time.
