Rebula/Chardonnay, Gasper 2021

Vibrant, textural and quite delicious, this is an excellent introduction to the increasingly well recognised grape varieties of one of Europe's oldest wine-making countries, predating the Roman influence in France, Germany and Spain. Better known as Ribolla Gialla in northeast Italy's Friuli region, Rebula is blended here with Chardonnay, making a wine full of peach, green apple and citrus notes.
