Beyond Malbec: South America Tutored Tasting - Wednesday 8th November 2023

Our first foray into the complex and rapidly evolving wine scene of South America, join us for a tour of the lesser-known regions and varieties of Argentina and Uruguay, from Criolla to Tannat and the Uco Valley to Patagonia. Laurie Webster (formerly of Las Bodegas) heads up Ucopia Wines, based in Mayfield and one of the UK's leading specialist importers from South American's best and most innovative producers. I've had the pleasure of working with Laurie for quite a few years now and he wears his considerable learning  very lightly: this promises to be both an entertaining and informative evening's tasting. A selection of light food is included in the ticket price and all the wines will be available to order on the night.
